January Overview

Its a wrap!!

Ok so finally settled into my new house and unfortunately still playing off a internet dongle which is not ideal for a grinder like me! but I thought fuk it and tried to play my normal sessions with it. I have had it for 3 weeks now and its only disconnected about 20 times nothing too serious just minor pauses so all good tbh....

180s have been my main game this month so far and have done very well in them overall I managed to stay on the total profit leader board for the whole month up until yesterday, not to bad considering my volume compared to most regs on the leader boards.
As for MTTs not a great month (also very low mtt volume) on the last day of the month I decided to reg some non turbo mtts for the first time in 3 weeks. I had some post flop run good and managed a 3rd place in the $8 1 re buy 1 add on for $ 1,990.44 which still sat me at a loss for mtts in Jan.

So a plus $5k month for only 180s is very good imo plus I have played a few $35's and bricked them all pretty much. The volume has not been too hard either and with an avg ROI of 36% Overall I am very happy with how they have gone.

Ok so this definitely didn't go according to plan, I hardly played any events at all due to bad time management and confidence with grinding above avg buy in on my (unstable) dongle.

7th Jan - 13th Jan Results

So I have had a bit of a stressful week, We are moving house in a few days so havent had that much time to play. Also the ISP decided to cut the internet off 5 days early so I have had to buy a WiFi Dongle which is not ideal. It has been ok the past few days but I have had to cut down on the volume, wont be back on a stable connection till the 20th Jan urhhh.


However I have actually been crushing the 180s on Stars and have got a star on SharkScope:

Played 97games today started off well winning a $15 180 with a 3rd plus a 3rd in a $8 & $3r. Didn't do much in mtts made a couple of small ft's not finishing better then 6th to end the day with a profit of $598

Jan Results So Far

January 2012 first week of grinding has not gone according to plan, so far;

Started off doing ok playing well and then in my second session I ended up playing for 13 hours straight, I regged for a total of 192 games a mix of 180s and mtts. I didn't go deep in any of them and had the worst session I have had for a while. Think I was just playing too many games 30 tabling for 10 hours non stop.
